West of Escalante, the Pine Lake OHV Trail is a 15 mile trail system open to OHV routes.

The Pine Lake OHV Trail begins and ends at the Pine Lake staging area on the north side of the Pine Lake Campground. The trail follows along the east side of Pine Lake, then follows roads and trails through Cameron Wash before looping back to the staging area. There are two extensions from the main trail, one leads to Henderson Point and the other to Powell Point.

Overall, Pine Lake OHV Trail is the 19th most popular OHV & 4wd jeep trail of all 32 OHV routes in Utah. Several of the better ohv/4wd trails are nearby Pine Lake OHV Trail including Smoky Mountain Road and Hole-In-The-Rock Road.
