North of Sundance in the Black Hills National Forest, the Bear Lodge Mountains have miles of forest roads open to OHV routes. The elevations range from 4,000 to 7,000 feet.

To reach the Reuter Parking Area from Sundance, head west on US90 to Exit 185. Head west on US14 for 1 mile. Turn right heading north on Sundance-Warren Peak Road for 2 miles.

Make sure you have the current Wyoming ORV permit.

Overall, Bear Lodge Mountains is the 6th most popular OHV & 4wd jeep trail of all 8 OHV routes in Wyoming.
