Northwest of Idaho Falls, the 10,000 acre St Anthony Sand Dunes has dunes up to 600 feet high open to OHV users. The dunes are 15 miles across. The eastern side has small rolling hills ideal for beginners, while the western side has more challenging hills for advanced riders.

To reach the centrally located Egin Lake trailhead from US20, use the North Rexburg exit. Turn northwest on 1900E (Parker - Salem Highway) for 6.3 miles. Turn left at the flashing light for 0.85 miles. Veer right at the fork and continue over the railroad tracks on 500N for 2.9 miles. Turn right onto gravel road leading into Egin Lake area.

Overall, St Anthony Sand Dunes OHV is the 5th most popular OHV & 4wd jeep trail of all 12 OHV routes in Idaho.
