Southeast of Dallas and northwest of Alto, the Shiloh Ridge area has 1,000 acres open to OHV vehicles. There are rolling hills of red dirt. During wet times, expect plenty of mud.

To reach the OHV trailhead for Shiloh Ridge from Alto, head north on SR69 for 1.75 miles to CR2416. Turn left heading west on CR2416 and follow signs.

Overall, Shiloh Ridge is the 8th most popular OHV & 4wd jeep trail of all 15 OHV routes in Texas. Several of the better ohv/4wd trails are nearby Shiloh Ridge including Barnwell Mountain OHV Recreational Area, West Texas Baja Offroad Area, River Run ATV Park and Primitive Acres OHV Guest Ranch.
