Schnebly Hill Road For OHV Driving

The 6th most popular off-highway vehicle trail in Arizona.

Southeast of Sedona in the Coconino National Forest, the Schnebly Hill Road offers 11.8 miles of climbing on scenic dirt roads for OHV users. This route follows old Schnebly Hill Road to the top of the Mogollon Rim with around 1,500 feet of vertical climbing.

To reach the trailhead from uptown Sedona, head west on SR89A to SR179. Then follow SR179 south 0.3 miles. Turn left heading east on Schnebly Hill Road for 0.8 miles. The route starts at the signed parking area on the left.

Overall, Schnebly Hill Road is the 6th most popular OHV & 4wd jeep trail of all 25 OHV routes in Arizona.
