Walker Valley ORV Area For OHV Driving

The 3rd most popular off-highway vehicle trail in Washington.

Southeast of Mt Vernon, the Walker Valley ORV Area is a lowland riding area popular with trailbikes. Elevations range from 500 to 3,000 feet. The Walker Valley areas is a fully authorized and managed ORV area with 36 miles of trails. Located off Highway 9 near Lake Cavanaugh, it is open year-round.

To reach the OHV parking for the Walker Valley ORV Area, use the following directions: I-5 exit College Way (538) in Mount Vernon, go East.

A few miles out of town, you will come to a "Y" in the road (Big Rock Grocery), head south on Highway 9 towards "Big Lake".

Continue until you see "Walker Valley Rd", and a small sign for Walker Valley ORV on your left about mid point on Big Lake, theres a sign for Walker Valley on the right. Follow this gravel road to trail head.

Overall, Walker Valley ORV Area is the 3rd most popular OHV & 4wd jeep trail of all 31 OHV routes in Washington.
