Santa Rita Backcountry Touring Area For OHV Driving

The 22nd most popular off-highway vehicle trail in Arizona.

North of Sonoita in the Coronado National Forest, Santa Rita Backcountry Touring Area has roads and trails over 130,000 acres open to OHV users. The routes pass through high desert and oak woodland foothills.

The Santa Rita Backcountry Touring Area is located just north of Sonoita and west of SR83. If heading South on Hwy 83, the OHV staging area is located approximately 1 mile on the right side of the road after you enter the national forest. Please follow signs.

Overall, Santa Rita Backcountry Touring Area is the 22nd most popular OHV & 4wd jeep trail of all 25 OHV routes in Arizona.
