Northwest of Hood River near Stabler in the Gifford Pinchot National Forest, the Lookout Mountain route is a 26.5 mile OHV drive. The drive starts from Sunset Campground and heads up a scenic ridge above the East Fork of the Lewis River.

Overall, Lookout Mountain is the 9th most popular OHV & 4wd jeep trail of all 31 OHV routes in Washington.
