To reach the trailhead from Sacramento, follow US50 for 23 miles towards Placerville. Turn south on Praire City Road for 2 miles. Turn right on White Rock Road to the trailhead.

Overall, Prairie City SVRA is the 68th most popular OHV & 4wd jeep trail of all 102 OHV routes in California.
