North of Glenwood Springs, the Flat Tops Trail System has over 50 miles of trails open to OHV driving. It is located on top of the plateau above Glenwood Canyon. It connects with the Meadow Lake trail system to the west.

To get to the Flat Tops are, exit I-70 at Dotsero, exit 133. turn left (west) on Coffe Pot Road (FS #600) and follow this spectacular road for 27 miles and then take a right on the gravel road to Deep Lake Campground.
