North of Concord and northeast of Laconia near Gilford, the Gunstock Cross Country Ski Area has over 50 km of trails over 2,400 acres with 37 km groomed for classic in-line and skate skiing. Plus, there are an additional 12km of ungroomed backcountry trails.
West of Concord and southeast of Sunapee, the Dexters Inn Trails by Norsk has 25 km of cross-country ski trails for classical skiing only. Formerly the Norsk XC Ski Center, the trails are snowmobile groomed on the weekends-only. Trails are rated 35% easy, 45% intermediate, and 20% advanced.
Northeast of Concord and north of Wolfeboro, the Wolfeboro ski center has 30km of groomed cross country skiing trails. The trails are spread across two trail networks located on the Abenaki property and the Lakes Region Conservation Trust property in the Sewall Woods Conservation Area.
