South of Littleton and Franconia, a great 45 km trail network criss-crosses the Easton Valley. Over 65 km of cross country skiing trails are groomed and provide outstanding views of the Kinsman ranges, Mount Lafayette and Franconia Notch.
Northwest of North Conway near Bartlett, the Bear Notch Ski Touring Center has 65km of cross-country ski trails. The trail follow the Albany Brook and also the Saco River all the way east to the Attitash Mountain Village. The trail system is known for its scenic waterfalls and challenging hills.
Near Pinkham Notch, the Great Glen ski center has 45km of cross country skiing trails with 20km groomed. There are nice vistas of Mt. Washington and the snowcapped Presidential Range.
