Near Jasper, the Marmot ski area is one of the largest cross-country ski areas in Canada with over 300 kilometers of trails. Right from your doorstep, groomed trails take you through scores of beautiful valleys, past stunning lakes and mountain scenery.

Located only 19 km south of the town of Jasper via Highway 93, 93A and the Marmot Basin Road, 25 minutes door-to-door.

Overall, Marmot Basin Ski Area is the 23rd most popular cross country ski area of all 37 Nordic ski destinations in Alberta. Several of the better cross country ski trails are nearby Marmot Basin Ski Area including Jasper Park Lodge Ski Trails, Maligne Canyon Trail and Athabasca Falls System.
