Farragut State Park Cross Country Skiing

The 25th most popular XC Ski in Idaho.

Located 25 miles northeast of Coeur dAlene and four miles east of Athol on Highway 95, the park provides 7.5 miles of groomed ski trails which have been designed to offer excellent opportunities for beginner and intermediate skiers and to provide outstanding views of the park and mountains surrounding Lake Pend Oreille. Snow conditions vary due to the low elevation of the park. A picnic shelter, restrooms and a plowed parking area are provided.

The cross country ski trailhead is located 4 miles east of Athol on State Highway 54, near Bayview.

Overall, Farragut State Park is the 25th most popular cross country ski area of all 43 Nordic ski destinations in Idaho.
