Boyne Highlands Cross Country Skiing

The 15th most popular XC Ski in Michigan.

Near Harbor Springs, the Boyne Highlands Ski Area maintains 15 miles of groomed cross-country ski trails.

Directions from the Gaylord Exit off of I-75 North (Exit 282):

Take the M-32 exit, exit #282, toward Gaylord/Alpena. Turn left (west) onto M-32 and continue for 13 miles. Once you reach US-131, turn right (north) and continue for 15 miles passing Boyne Mountain along the way. Once in Petoskey, head straight as US-131 turns into US-31. After about 3 miles, turn left at the intersection of US-31 and M-119. After another 3 miles on M-119, turn right (north) at the intersection of M-119 and Pleasantview Rd. Keeping an eye out for Teddy Griffins Road House on the left (3 miles), turn left at Teddys onto Highland Rd. The entrance will be less than a mile down on the right.

Overall, Boyne Highlands is the 15th most popular cross country ski area of all 49 Nordic ski destinations in Michigan.
