Allegheny Highlands Trail Cross Country Skiing

The 23rd most popular XC Ski in Pennsylvania.

Running through Somerset County, the 30 mile Allegheny Highlands Trail runs from Garrett to Fort Hill along an old railway crossing high viaducts and bridges. Most of the AHT follows the Casselman River as it passes through the scenic gorges of the Laurel Highlands.

The cross country skiing trailhead parking is available at both Garrett and Fort Hill.

Overall, Allegheny Highlands Trail is the 23rd most popular cross country ski area of all 35 Nordic ski destinations in Pennsylvania.
