The Banks Vernonia State Trail runs 21 miles from the towns of Banks to Vernonia in Columbia County.

To reach the cross-country skiing trailhead from Vernonia at SR47, head south on Adams Ave. for 0.2 miles to Anderson Park. Park here.

Overall, Banks-Vernonia State Trail is the 12th most popular cross country ski area of all 24 Nordic ski destinations in Oregon.
