From the east side of Jackson in the Bridger-Teton National Forest, the Cache Creek Canyon is a nice out & back trek up the closed section of Cache Creek Canyon drive. The route runs behind Snow King ski area and can be linked up with Game Creek Canyon for a loop that ends down on SR191 south of town.

To reach the cross-country skiing trailhead from the intersection of US 26 and Broadway in Jackson, go east on Broadway for 0.6 miles. Turn right on Redmond St. and go 0.4 miles. Take a left on Cache Creek Rd. and go just over 1 mile to parking.

Overall, Cache Creek Canyon is the 16th most popular cross country ski area of all 26 Nordic ski destinations in Wyoming. Several of the better cross country ski trails are nearby Cache Creek Canyon including Jackson Ski Touring Foundation, Mt.
