Signal Mountain Cross Country Skiing

The MOST popular XC Ski in Wyoming.

Northeast of Jackson and west of Moran in the Grand Teton National Park, the 10 mile out & back trek up Signal Mountain is a good tour on unplowed roads to escape from the crowds. The route starts from near Signal Mountain Lodge and runs through pine forests. To reach the cross-country skiing trailhead from Jackson, head north on SR26 to Moran Junction. Turn left into the northern section of GTNP and then left again up towards Signal Mountain Lodge.

Overall, Signal Mountain is the 1st most popular cross country ski area of all 26 Nordic ski destinations in Wyoming.
