Northern Timber Cruisers Cross Country Skiing

The 6th most popular XC Ski in Maine.

Near Millinocket, From the Northern Timber Cruisers Club House, loops that return to the clubhouse are easily accessible, or a skier can glide north 5 miles to the warming hut. The trip back has many loops and alternate trails providing hours of exploration for winter sport enthusiasts.

To reach the cross-country skiing trailhead, proceed on Route 11 through Millinocket towards Baxter State. As you leave town you will see a large sign with an antique snowmobile on it. Take the next right and you wwill be at the Northern Timber Cruisers Ski Club.

Overall, Northern Timber Cruisers is the 6th most popular cross country ski area of all 13 Nordic ski destinations in Maine.
