Near Fergus Falls and Maplewood State Park, the Spidahl Ski Gaard area has 20km of challenging trails. Spidahl Ski Gaard is located in the beautiful sugar maple hills of Friberg Township, four miles south of Maplewood State Park. We have eight trails of varying difficulty. Four of our trails are skate/classical combination, with the rest double track classical. There is a warming lodge with a snack bar, waxing table, and rest rooms.

To reach the cross-country skiing trailhead from the intersection of Fir Ave. and SR 27 in Fergus Falls, go north on SR 27 for 7 miles. Turn right on CR 22 and follow for almost 8 miles.
