Lunch Creek Cross Country Ski Area

The 32nd most popular cross country ski area in California.

Northeast of Truckee and west of Sierraville, the 20 mile Lunch Creek Trail is a moderate alpine backcountry loop through amazing vistas of Sierra Buttes. The trails provides access to several other trails.

The cross country ski trailhead is on SR49 1 mile west of Yuba Pass.

Overall, Lunch Creek Cross Country Ski Area is the 32nd most popular cross country ski area of all 38 Nordic ski destinations in California.
