Northeast of Concord and north of Wolfeboro, the Wolfeboro ski center has 30km of groomed cross country skiing trails. The trails are spread across two trail networks located on the Abenaki property and the Lakes Region Conservation Trust property in the Sewall Woods Conservation Area. In addition to the groomed trails, there are also 15km of ungroomed backcountry ski trails.
To reach the southern trailhead for cross country skiing at Wolfeboro XC from the intersection of SR 28 and SR 109 (Main Street) in Wolfeboro, go west on SR 109 for 0.5 miles to Sewell Rd. Turn left and go 1 block to a right on Pleasant Street. Go 0.1 miles to a left on Clow Road. Parking will be on the right.
A trail pass is required while using the Wolfeboro Cross Country Ski Association trail system. A trail pass and map can be obtained at Nordic Skier Sports at 47 N. Main Street in Wolfeboro.
Overall, Wolfeboro XC is the 15th most popular cross country ski area of all 26 Nordic ski destinations in New Hampshire.
