Southeast of Cable, the Telemark Resort grooms sixteen trail loops totaling 65 kilometers for skiers of all abilities. From the challenge of the World Cup Trail to easy gliding on the Rockwell or Birkie 2K, there is something for everyone. Kids love the 2k Warming Cabin where hot chocolate and a Christmas tree with little gifts await there arrival.

To reach the cross-country skiing trailhead from the intersection of US 63 and CR M in Cable, go east on CR M for 2.3 miles. Turn right on Telemark Rd. and go about 2 miles to the Telemark Lodge.

Overall, Telemark Ski Area is the 13th most popular cross country ski area of all 37 Nordic ski destinations in Wisconsin. Several of the better cross country ski trails are nearby Telemark Ski Area including American Birkebeiner Trail, Mukwonago Trail, Rock Lake Trail, Mount Ashwabay Ski Trails, Nicolet Nordic Ski Trail and Lakewood Cross-Country Ski TrailLauterman Trail.
