Sawtooth Valley Trails - Alturas Lake Cross Country Skiing

The 2nd most popular XC Ski in Idaho.

North of Ketchum near Stanley in the Sawtooth National Forest, the Sawtooth Valley Trail System consists of two areas, Park Creek and Alturas Lake. The Alturas Lake Ski Trails are a 14km network of cross country skiing trails. The trailhead is located north of Ketchum and south of Stanley.

To reach the Alturas Lake trailhead from Ketchum, head north on SR75 for 34 miles. The trailhead is on the west side of the road.
