Southwest of Kansasville in Kenosha County, the 4,500 acre Richard Bong State Recreation Area has 15 miles of groomed trails for cross country skiing.

The Bong is located 9 miles west of I-94 on Hwy. 142

Overall, Bong State Recreation Area is the 15th most popular cross country ski area of all 37 Nordic ski destinations in Wisconsin.
