Creek Cross Country Skiing

The 43rd most popular XC Ski in Colorado.

East of Gunnision near Ohio City, the Quartz Creek System consists of three cross country ski trails.

The Gold Creek area is a deep, rocky canyon north of Ohio City. There are several backcountry trails in the area through regions of moderate avalanche hazard.

To reach Pitkin from Gunnison, head east on US50 to Parlin. Turn left heading north on CR76 to Ohio City.

Overall, Creek is the 43rd most popular cross country ski area of all 58 Nordic ski destinations in Colorado.
