Kakabeka Falls Provincial Park Cross Country Skiing

The 18th most popular XC Ski in Ontario.

West of Thunder Bay, the Kakabeka Falls Provincial Park has 13km of groomed ski trails through meadows maintained by the Thunder Bay Nordic Trails Association.

To reach the cross-country skiing trailhead from Thunder Bay, head west on Highway 11 for 32km. Turn south on Highway 590 for 2km into Kakabeka Falls.

Overall, Kakabeka Falls Provincial Park is the 18th most popular cross country ski area of all 48 Nordic ski destinations in Ontario.
