Southwest of Toronto and Grand Bend, the Pinery Provincial Park has 5 ski trails totaling 37km. The trails wind through oak and pine forests, and a dune ridge.

To reach the cross-country skiing trailhead from Grand Bend, head southwest on Highway 21 for 5km.

Overall, Pinery Provincial Park is the 6th most popular cross country ski area of all 49 Nordic ski destinations in Ontario. Several of the better cross country ski trails are nearby Pinery Provincial Park including Durham Forest, Northumberland County Forest, Mansfield Outdoor Centre, Ganaraska Forest, Bruce Trail and Dundas Valley Conservation Area.
