Lafontaine Ski Trails

The 15th most popular cross country ski area in Ontario.

North of Toronto and Barrie near Penetanguishene, the Lafontaine Ski Trail system has 7 cross country ski trails totaling 42km groomed for classical and skate skiing. The trails roll through hardwood and pine forests.

From the south (Toronto): Hwy. 400 N. exit #98 Barrie, Hwy. 27 N.(28 km). 2km After Elmvale, turn left onto Simcoe rd 6 (26 km) At 2nd stop, Esso Station intersection, turn right on Lafontaine Rd. Proceed for 2 Km.

Overall, Lafontaine Ski Trails is the 15th most popular cross country ski area of all 48 Nordic ski destinations in Ontario.
