Mauricie National Park Cross Country Skiing

The 25th most popular XC Ski in Quebec.

Between Montreal and Quebec City near Shawinigan, the Parc National de la Mauricie has 12 trails totaling 80km groomed for both classical and skate skiing. The starting point is the Rivière-à-la-Pêche Service Centre, located 5 km from the Saint-Jean-des-Piles entrance. The Centre is equipped with a waxing room and sanitary and first-aid facilities. Heated shelters can be found along the trails, at intervals of approximately five kilometres.

The cross country ski trailhead is located 8km north of St Gerand.

Overall, Mauricie National Park is the 25th most popular cross country ski area of all 35 Nordic ski destinations in Quebec.
