Syncline Cross Country Ski Area

The 19th most popular cross country ski area in Alberta.

South of Calgary near Blairmore, the Syncline Cross Country Ski Area has eight ungroomed ski trails totaling 17km. The trails follow scenic logging roads closed in the winter in the rolling terrain of the Castle River Valley.

To reach the trailhead from Beaver Mines, head southwest on Highway 774 for 15km.

Overall, Syncline Cross Country Ski Area is the 19th most popular cross country ski area of all 37 Nordic ski destinations in Alberta.
