Blue Lake Centre Cross Country Skiing

The 7th most popular XC Ski in Alberta.

North of Jasper and northwest of Hinton in William Switzer Provincial Park, the Blue Lake Adventure Centre maintains 22km of trails for classical cross country skiing. The trails roll through boreal forest.

To reach the Centre from Edmonton, head west on Highway 16 (Yellowhead) past Hinton to Highway 40 North. Turn right (north) onto Highway 40 North and travel 21 km. The sign and entrance is on the right hand side of the highway.

Overall, Blue Lake Centre is the 7th most popular cross country ski area of all 37 Nordic ski destinations in Alberta.
