Shunda Creek Cross Country Skiing

The 29th most popular XC Ski in Alberta.

Southwest of Edmonton and west of Nordegg, the Shunda Creek area has six groomed ski trails totaling 20km. The trails roll through pine forests and along lakes.

To reach the cross-country skiing trailhead from Nordegg, head west on Highway 11. Turn north on Shunda Creek Recreation Road for 3km.

Overall, Shunda Creek is the 29th most popular cross country ski area of all 37 Nordic ski destinations in Alberta.
