Crimson Lake Provincial Park Cross Country Skiing

The 15th most popular XC Ski in Alberta.

Southwest of Edmonton and west of Rocky Mountain House, the Crimson Lake Provincial Park has nine groomed ski trails totaling 17km. The trails roll through the foothills boreal forest.

To reach the cross-country skiing trailhead from Rocky Mountain House, head west on Highway 11 for 12km. Turn north on Highway 757 for 8km.

Overall, Crimson Lake Provincial Park is the 15th most popular cross country ski area of all 37 Nordic ski destinations in Alberta.
