Crimson Lake Provincial Park Cross Country Skiing

The 13th most popular XC Ski in Alberta.

Southwest of Edmonton and west of Rocky Mountain House, the Crimson Lake Provincial Park has nine groomed cross country ski trails totaling 17km. These nordic trails roll through the foothills of scenic boreal forest.

To reach the cross-country skiing trailhead from Rocky Mountain House, head west on Highway 11 for 12km. Turn north on Highway 757 for 8km.

Overall, Crimson Lake Provincial Park is the 13th most popular cross country ski area of all 35 Nordic ski destinations in Alberta.
