Northwest of Calgary and Sundre, the Bearberry Nordic Centre has 10 groomed cross country ski trails totaling 35km. The trails roll through pine and spruce forests.

The Bearberry Nordic Centre is located 35.0 km west of Sundre on James River bordering on the Bow Crow forest on Secondary Highway 584. Stay always on Highway, it is a paved road until you come to the James River. Cross the James River bridge, there you will see the Bearberry Nordic Centre sign. Please turn to the right onto our private driveway.

Overall, Bearberry Nordic Centre is the 26th most popular cross country ski area of all 37 Nordic ski destinations in Alberta.
