Shaw Lake Ski Trails

The 34th most popular cross country ski area in Alberta.

Northeast of Edmonton and Lac La Biche in Lakeland Provincial Park, the Shaw Lake Ski Trails consist of seven groomed ski trails totaling 26km maintained by Lac La Biche Nordic Ski Club. The trails loop around Shaw Lake. The southside trails are hilly, while the northside trails are easier.

To reach the cross-country skiing trailhead from Lac La Biche, head east on Highway 881. Then follow Highway 663 into the park.

Overall, Shaw Lake Ski Trails is the 34th most popular cross country ski area of all 37 Nordic ski destinations in Alberta.
