In the scenic Bryce Canyon National Park, the Fairyland Loop is a 8 mile ungroomed cross country ski loop down amongst the hoodoo towers of Bryce Canyon. The route starts from Fairyland Point and combines the Fairyland Trail (5.5 miles) with a 2.5 mile stretch of the Rim Trail. The route passes Fairyland Canyon, Tower Bridge and Chinesse Wall through sections of Bristlecone pines.
Overall, Fairyland Loop is the 9th most popular cross country ski area of all 19 Nordic ski destinations in Utah. Several of the better cross country ski trails are nearby Fairyland Loop including Bryce Canyon National Park, Rim Trail, Red Canyon Scenic Trail, Old Bryce Town Ski Loop, Daves Hallow Trail and Paria Ski Loop.
