In the scenic Bryce Canyon National Park, the Rim Trail is a 11 mile ungroomed cross country ski route (one-way) overlooking the hoodoos of Bryce Canyon. The Fairyland Loop runs from Fairyland Point in the north to Bryce Point in the south. It is paved between Sunrise Point and Sunset Point. It is an easy route with only 550 feet of vertical, but keep in mind that the base altitude is over 9,000.

Overall, Rim Trail is the 10th most popular cross country ski area of all 19 Nordic ski destinations in Utah. Several of the better cross country ski trails are nearby Rim Trail including Bryce Canyon National Park, Fairyland Loop, Red Canyon Scenic Trail, Old Bryce Town Ski Loop, Daves Hallow Trail and Paria Ski Loop.
