Wawayanda State Park Cross Country Skiing

The 10th most popular XC Ski in New Jersey.

North of Newark and east of Vernon in Sussex County, the Wawayanda State Park has 21 miles of ungroomed cross country ski trails. The rolling routes offer nice views of mountains and valleys.

The main park entrance is off Warwick Turnpike (aka Moe Road), which is south of Warwick, New York, off SR94.

Overall, Wawayanda State Park is the 10th most popular cross country ski area of all 14 Nordic ski destinations in New Jersey.
