Belleplain State Forest Cross Country Skiing

The 9th most popular XC Ski in New Jersey.

West of Atlantic City and south of Vineland near Woodbine, the 20,700 acre Belleplain State Forest in Cumberland County has 42 miles of cross-country ski trails along flat old roads and abandoned railroad grades.

The forest can be reached via the Garden State Parkway by taking exit 17 southbound (exit 17) to Routes 9 and 550 or exit 13 northbound. Highway signs are provided to guide the motorist to the forest.

Overall, Belleplain State Forest is the 9th most popular cross country ski area of all 14 Nordic ski destinations in New Jersey.
