West of the town of Mountain, the Nicolet Nordic Ski Trail system consists of five loops, varying in length from 1-1/2 to 4-1/2 miles with a total of 11 miles.

To reach the cross-country skiing trailhead from the town of Mountain, follow County Highway W west for 1 mile to McComb Lake Road (FR 2311). Turn left and go south 2 miles to parking area on the left (east) side of the road. Space is available for approximately 30 vehicles.
