East of Littleton and Twin Mountain, the Zealand Valley Cross Country Ski Trails (aka Zealand Winter Trails) is a trail system consisting of the 4.1 mile Spruce Goose Cross Country Ski Trail and the 1.3 mile Flat Iron Cross Country Ski Trail loop. The trails head south along the Zealand River. There is a limited snow season so make sure to check with the National Forest Service prior to head to the trails.

The trailhead is at the NFS Zealand Campground on SR302 in Twin Mountain. The campground is 3 miles east of the junction of SR302 and SR3. Unfortunately, there is no winter parking at the campground. There is a winter trailhead on the opposite, north side of the road about 0.5 miles east of the campground.

Overall, Zealand Winter Trails is the 18th most popular cross country ski area of all 26 Nordic ski destinations in New Hampshire.
