Bird Lake Cross Country Skiing

The 29th most popular XC Ski in Minnesota.

East of Hoyt Lakes in the Superior National Forest, the Bird Lake trail system has 16km of cross-country ski trails through black spruce swamps and hills of aspen.

The trails are located 5 miles east of Hoyt Lakes on CR110. Parking is available at Bird Lake and the east end of Hoyt Lakes.

Overall, Bird Lake is the 29th most popular cross country ski area of all 39 Nordic ski destinations in Minnesota.
