Waterloo - Discovery Center Trail

The 41st most popular cross country ski area in Michigan.

Near Chelsea, the 20,000 acre Waterloo Recreation Area has 14 miles of ungroomed cross country ski trails starting from the Discovery Center.

To reach the trailhead, take US94 to exit 157 (west of Chelsea.) Go north on Pierce road 3 miles to Bush road. Turn left on Bush road and go Ā½ mile. Turn left onto the entrance road.

Overall, Waterloo - Discovery Center Trail is the 41st most popular cross country ski area of all 49 Nordic ski destinations in Michigan.
