Temiskaming Nordic Ski Club

The 47th most popular cross country ski area in Ontario.

Near New Liskeard, the Temiskaming Nordic Ski Club offers 21km of groomed, well marked, skate and classical cross country ski trails that following the rolling terrain of the glacier esker in northern Ontario. Trails range from easy to advanced offering something for everyone. The Club also offers a large heated log chalet with indoor washrooms, waxing and changing rooms and a kitchen. Temiskaming Nordic also offers lessons and rentals, please call for prices and membership information.

Directions: Southern Ontario - TNSC is about 480 km from Toronto. Look for the Portage Bay Road turnoff on the west side of the road, just north of the intersection of Highway 11 & 11B (The turnoff for Cobalt - approx. 140 km north of North Bay; 230 km south of Timmins). Follow Portage Bay road west approximately 2 km until you see the Barr Forest Access Road and TNSC directional sign. The club chalet is visible just after you turn onto this road. Our parking lot can accommodate buses.
