Snowmass Nordic - East

The 51st most popular cross country ski area in Colorado.

The Aspen/Snowmass area has 60 km of groomed track above 8,000. A nice track in the Owl Creek Trail. Plus, theres 25km of marked, ungroomed backcountry ski trails.

To reach the Snowmass Cross-Country Center from Aspen, take Brush Creek Road and turn left onto Highline Road. The first turn-off on the right from Highline Road leads to the Cross-Country Center.

Also, this makes a great base for exploring the near by 10th Mountain Hut backcountry circuit and the Maroon Bells Wilderness.

For apres ski, try Woody Creek Tavern. For nightlife, check out Shooters for dancing, Double Diamond for live music or Club Chelsea for rave. Still need more, try Jimmys American Bar, La Cocina, Lava Room and Erics Bar.

Overall, Snowmass Nordic - East is the 51st most popular cross country ski area of all 58 Nordic ski destinations in Colorado.
