Purity Spring Resort XC Reserve

The 21st most popular cross country ski area in New Hampshire.

Northeast of Concord near Madison, the Purity Spring Resort XC Reserve has 28km of cross country skiing trails winding through the forests surrounding Purity Lake. The trail system also traverses the resort grounds and wind throught the pine forest of the Hoyt Audubon Wildlife Sanctuary. About 15km of trails are groomed twice weekly.

To reach the cross country skiing at Purity Spring Resort XC Reserve from Portsmouth, head north on US95. Use the White Mountain exit to Spaulding Turnpike which becomes SR16. Follow SR16 north to Center Ossipee. Head east on SR25 for 5 miles to SR153. Head north on SR153 for 6 miles to the Purity Spring Resort XC Reserve.

Overall, Purity Spring Resort XC Reserve is the 21st most popular cross country ski area of all 26 Nordic ski destinations in New Hampshire.
