Belleayre Mountain Ski Area

The 56th most popular cross country ski area in New York.

Southwest of Albany near Highmount in the Catskill Forest Preserve, the Belleayre ski area has 9km of groomed cross-country ski trails.

Driving Directions:

From Points North or South - NYS Thruway (I-87) to Exit 19 - Kingston, NY - then Rt. 28, 37 miles West to Highmount. Belleayre will be on your left at the top of the hill after passing the Village of Pine Hill. (approximately 2.5 hrs from NYC and 1.5 hours from Albany).

From Points West or South - Rt. 17 to East Branch, then Rt. 30 to Rt. 28 East to Highmount.

From Philadelphia & New Jersey area - NJ Garden State Parkway to I-87 North to Exit 19 - Kingston, then Rt. 28 West to Highmount.

From Washington & Baltimore area - I-95 North to NJ Garden State Parkway to I-87 North to Exit 19 - Kingston, then to Rt. 28 West to Highmount.

Overall, Belleayre Mountain Ski Area is the 56th most popular cross country ski area of all 61 Nordic ski destinations in New York.
