North of Torino and Pont St Martin, the Breuil-Cervinia Valtournenche has many kilometers of nordic skiing. ring which is 3 Km long, following a varied route suitable for beginners and experts alike.
Cervinia is know for its pistes offering spectaular views of the surrounding massive mountains. The village of Cervinia is located at the base of 14,691 foot Mount Cervino. This climbers paradise is also know for it's powdery snow through April.
Thanks to the high altitude (2,050.m) the Breuil Cervinia cross country ski run is open all winter long, with natural snow coverage. It is also extremely easy to reach: situated at the entrance to the town, surrounded by the Grandes Murailles mountains and set against the backdrop of the Cervino, it is flanked by a large carpark and those who need to hire equipment can do so just a few metres away.

In the Champlève area (1,524 mt) of Valtournenche, there is a 4.8 Km long ring.
Entry to both ski runs is free to skiers who have a multi-day skipass lasting more than 5 days.
For apres ski, hit the Yeti bar. For some nightlife, which starts at midnight, do not miss the Black Hole Bar in the pedestrian walkway of Cervinia, the Garage Disco Club, and end up at the Discoteca Banconiglio.
Overall, Breuil-Cervinia Valtournenche Ski Area is the 7th most popular cross country ski area of all 16 Nordic ski destinations in Italy.
